The following pictures were taken on the island of Barbuda... Antigua's sister island. Barbuda is a small flat and very dry island with a population of approximately 1000. Most people stay in the main village of Codrington (named after the wealthy British family that leased the island for two hundred years). The beaches of Barbuda are arguably the most beautiful in the Caribbean if not the world. (late August 2002)

The following pictures were taken while hiking to Darby's Cave. It's more of a huge 200' deep sink hole than a cave. This area was interesting due to it's very lush and abundant vegetation in Barbuda's otherwise desert like landscape. I was hiking with Calvin and his brother. Along the way, we met up with Kenrick, a very friendly man despite his hermit like life style. (late August 2002)
